Release 3.0 Features

This is a non-prioritized list of the changes, additions and modifications
that are in Version 3.0 over Version 2.1.

• Added ability to search across all file cabinets, Drawers and Folders
• Up to 32 separate words are allowed in the search string.
• Added drag/drop ability to do almost all document/folder/File Cabinet operations
• Added drawers hierarchy level with up to 32 drawers per file cabinet and password protected drawers
• Added custom index fields per file cabinet which are shared by all users
• Changed Fileroom look-and-feel to be that of the Windows Explorer
• Added ability to email non-image documents
• Added ability to move documents between file cabinets
• Added ability to sort ascending or descending by any of the displayed fields

• Enhanced print icon to print from image windows, Fileroom documents, and pages in the acquire window
• Allow importing JPEG files into the scan window so that quality is not lost;
• Set install program to be consistent with user manager and to create a group and icons properly on the desktop
• Set the initial sizing of the Fileroom and scan windows so that they take up
  the entire width of the main window and sit one above the other
• Now allow folder password to be set at folder creation time
• Sped up G4 decode by about 10-15%. Sped up G4 encoding by 10-20%
• Sped up many of the imaging routines, but his requires that the program run on a 486 or better CPU
• JPEG data is re-stored directly without being decompressed
• The program must now be run on Win95 or WinNT 4.0
